Tipsy cherries - brandy cherries homemade
Chatty cherries are delicious with ice cream, puddings, or just like that.
With my recipe, I put it in brandy and sugar solution - a luxurious option would be cognac.
ingredients
- 500 g frozen cherries
- 70 g of brown cane sugar
- Lemon peel of half an organic lemon, peeled off without the whiteness
- 2 cardamom capsules
- 1 3-cm-long piece of cinnamon
- 3 clove pepper globules
- the marrow of a vanilla pod
- 6 tablespoons of brandy
- 1/8 L of water
preparation
- Boil water, sugar and spices in a saucepan for about 3 minutes.
- Now add the frozen cherries.
- Finally, add the brandy - stir well.
- Allow to cool and fill into screw jars.
- The cherries in a pretty glass are also a nice souvenir for invitations.
