To preserve garlic
When I buy garlic, mostly 3 pieces in the net, it is dry in an instant.
I break all the tubers into individual toes, peel off the peel exactly, fill it into a jam jar and then into the freezer.
Since they do not stick together, I pick out individual toes as needed, leave them for about 5 minutes, and then I can hack my toes or crush them in the press.
So they are always fresh and you do not smell like garlic the next day.
