Recipe for a tomato-feta-gratin: This dish is easy and fast to prepare, fits in both a low-carb and a food-separation diet, and is also low in fat when you take Feta-light.

In case of unannounced visit, it is ideal to enjoy outside or to prepare it on the grill, in an aluminum dish. I ate it yesterday as a light lunch. However, only for me alone. Then just halve or double the amount, etc. depending on the number of people.

  • 180 g feta / sheep's cheese
  • 400 to 500 g of ripe tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp drink. thyme
  • 1/2 to 1 pressed Knobizehe or garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Tomatoes and feta in, do not cut too thin slices and layer like a potato gratin into a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Mix thyme, knobi, lemon juice and olive oil in a small bowl and pour over the tomato and feta slices. Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes. We eat baguette, pita bread, bread rolls or a strong brown bread. Good Appetite! :)

In addition to thyme, which is very strong in taste, of course, z. B. basil or both. Stop what you like most about herbs. Zucchini also taste good, with the tomatoes together or as their substitutes, as well as red peppers, which should be cut accordingly thinner, as they have longer cooking times. I could also imagine olives or mushrooms, but they are not for everyone. Again, there are no limits to the imagination. ;)
