Tomatoes on sunburn

In the 1970s I had a hearty sunburn with pustules in the south of France.

At the hotel, a waiter (who was holding a meat tomato) said I should halve the tomato, cover myself with a napkin, and then lie down.

I looked pretty stupid, felt like a fool. But what can I say, after applying the skin cooled down immediately, the skin redness decreased and the itching subsided, the next day I could go back to the beach - but under the umbrella.

Try it, it's better than quark etc. - with immediate effect!
