Topfenstrudel

This curd cheese strudel (curd cheese) is the perfect treat for the next coffee break and not difficult to bake.
ingredients
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 700 g pot (quark about 20% fat)
- 80 g of sugar
- 1 pck of vanilla sugar
- Peel of half an organic lemon
- 2 eggs
- 1 pck. Custard powder
- salt
- some flour to roll out and powdered sugar
preparation
- Crumble the flour with the butter and the pinch of salt with your hands and knead well with 200 g of curd cheese. Then place in cling film and let rest for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Meanwhile, drain 500 g of pot in the sieve and then mix well with the sugar, eggs, peel, vanilla sugar and the custard powder.
- Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees and roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface and place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
- Apply the filling lengthwise as a strip on the middle of the dough and roll in the dough. Prick something with a fork and bake for about 45 minutes.
Then sprinkle with powdered sugar and best still enjoy warm. It goes well with custard.
I mixed some raisins, if you do not like them, you can just leave them out.
