Tortenring brand homemade from aluminum foil
Wanted to quickly and easily make a small "Friesentorte" and have bought a finished floor and lid. So far so good. But I did not consider that I have no cake ring in this size. Did not want to buy one more for the one time either. So I made myself a foil ring made of aluminum foil. Because the material is very flexible, which makes it no problem to fix it. Everything without brackets or anything else.
Simply cut the aluminum foil from the circumference of the cake to the appropriate length and fold it four times over the entire length. The two ends together pinch that holds. The cake is wonderfully successful.
