Tree resin with alcohol from clothing

When gardening, I've eingesaut my softshell jacket with tree resin.

Here I have only found tips with hand cream, lamp oil or turpentine. I do not like the resulting grease stains. In desperation, I remembered my work. There I am dealing with soldering work. It uses a solder tincture made of rosin and spirit. The rosin is also something similar to tree resin.

So I tried alcohol - and perfect.

Simply apply plenty of spirit to the stains and dab with a soft, absorbent cloth. For example, use an old cotton T-shirt or similar cleaning rags as a cloth. For spots that are deeper in the tissue, just repeat several times. Since alcohol evaporates quite quickly, the spot with the stains is dry again after a few minutes. And that without grease stains.

For dyed fabrics you should first test the procedure at an inconspicuous place, if the garment is also colourfast. Alcohol is not very aggressive, so in 90% of all cases there should be no problem with the color.
