Trivet made of old tiles very easily homemade
Anyone who has ever been on a beach holiday knows this ... you collect beautiful looking stones. Arrived at home then they are lying around somewhere and hardly get any attention.
When I realized at the next major lunch that I only had a trivet, I got the idea. I took an old tile and set the stones so that it was completely covered. With a conventional all-purpose glue I attached it to it and already I had a new, always reminiscent of the holiday pot coaster.
