Two "limestones" with one stone
When you descale the coffee machine, all the household perlators - or whatever else is calcified - are placed in the glass jug, saving you one step and descaling. In case of hardship just leave it in for a while - if necessary, do not switch off the machine immediately to maintain the temperature.
By the way: better than vinegar or vinegar essence is when decalcifying citric acid:

3. It is more effective as it is 50% in liquid form on the market. Vinegar is only 5% and essence only 20% and much more expensive.
