Upcycling idea - to recycle old Advent wreaths

A great upcycling idea for old Advent wreaths, better than dispose: Many throw the old Advent wreaths simply in the trash, but you can just make another wreath from it, or pick up the blank for next year and tie a new wreath from it.

The Advent arrangements are usually stapled on wooden boards, if you with scissors, the old pine branches and deco removed, you can pick up the wooden board and next time simply decorate with new fir branches and decoration, all you need is a hand tacker and glue for decoration. You do not always have to buy new, in addition you can create a kind of arrangement or wreath according to your wishes. That's how I do it every year.

My mother's old wreath has now been changed to a chic door wreath by me.

You need:

  • Dekostoff
  • a piece of deco tape that you use at the end to hang
  • scissors
  • Decoration z.b Pine cones u.s.w (according to taste)
  • Hot glue or other strong glue

This is how it's done:

  1. First, I freed the wreath of everything so that only the straw blank was left.
  2. Then I took the fabric and began to wrap the wreath well with it.
  3. The end of the fabric can be fixed (or sewed) with hot glue, the decorative objects are also glued on.

That's it, of course you can paste the wreath with everything possible instead of fabric well, for example. Balls, flower heads, pine cones, walnuts ...

This tip is not about the fabric wreath of mine, but about the tip that you can still make a lot of beautiful things with the Adventskranzrohlingen, or just as already mentioned so tie a new wreath for next time. So do not throw it away right away!
