Upcycling: spice up old stools with wool
The stool was so ugly, I could not see it anymore. I've spiced it up again with thick wool. Looks funny and is much more comfortable than before.
I wanted to give this stool already to the bulky waste. Now it still exists because I changed the seat with wool. With three Doggen wool (per 100 m run length) the seat was wrapped. It takes about two to three hours and comes out a completely new piece of furniture with a great look. It is important that also at the outer edges is wound. So do not always stretch the thread over the middle, otherwise there will be a rise and the stool will be uncomfortable.
This is needed:
- Old stool
- Thick wool (about 53% virgin wool, 3 times 100 g / 100 m)
