Use plastic bag caps for dumplings / birdseed
When you buy plastic / garbage bags, there are always these "closures" with you. Mostly I do not use them because I just knotted the bag / garbage bag like that.
Now I use the locks for the dumplings and / bird feeder to hang them on.
They are reasonably weatherproof and especially in the little houses that you should hang high. I usually do not come without a leader.
Because the closures are flexible, but still "stable", this is unnecessary with the ladder.
Even the small fasteners can be used, if you turn them together, the result is a "chain" in any length.
