Use sink insert for storage / keeping fresh
Sink inserts from the Euroshop keep my food fresh!
All rave about Tupper food storage boxes with wave bottom, in which vegetables, lettuce, cheese, etc. should keep fresh for a long time. Since I thought so, that is also cheaper:
I bought some sink inserts, cut them up and used them, e.g. in my vegetable compartment in the fridge (under which I have also put sponge cloths, which absorb the residual moisture of the vegetables) in my cheese bell (a few noodles to absorb the moisture) and in a bowl in which I thaw beef heart for my cat daily, otherwise Floats in your own blood (this is so after thawing and can not be eliminated by washing).
In my opinion, the food stays fresh longer, because air comes from below - now and then come the sink inserts in the dishwasher and are then immediately ready for use again.
It is certainly an individual tip, but who can take advantage of it, for other circumstances, it should try.
