Vacation time - wet diapers in the planter
Wet diapers in the planter supply the potted plants well with water. Ideal if you do not have anyone to pour on holiday.
Backoefele: Not bad either! Since I have no children, therefore, no diaper heard, I take old (from earlier) cotton dust (remove dust only with duster / Staubhandmop). Fold into pot bottom size, place in the top, just water well, plant insert: voila ... holds a proven 14 days, eg. for my Zamiopflanze. I would not let that longer in the pot, does not smell (more) good! But the plant did not harm it. But there is also an (expensive) solution with proper fleece (plant irrigation fleece) for whole flower boxes.
