Vegetable rissole (Boulette) with fresh ingredients

Vegetable meatballs / meatballs as finger food.

We are invited to the family reunion over the weekend with my father's brother. Normally it is then that we go bowling together, for example, in the summer in the park or whatever and undertake dinner together in the evening.

In the summer there is a barbecue, in winter everybody brings some "finger food". This time we have for small vegetable patties decided and for about 30 pieces you need the following ingredients:


1 kg of minced meat half and half
2 onions
1 old soaked bread roll or 3 - 4 slices of old soaked toast bread
salt and pepper
4 cloves of garlic
150 ml vegetable broth
1 egg
chopped vegetables of your choice (with us: red pepper, zucchini, leek, corn and small pieces of carrot)

The onions are cut into small cubes and come together with the finely cut cloves of garlic, the egg, the vegetable broth and the soaked bread / bun in a large bowl. Now salt and pepper are added and stirred. The mincemeat can also be added.

Now it's time to clean vegetables and cut. We like to cut it as small as possible and then add it to the mass. Hands washed, the whole mass is now kneaded with clean hands and then formed into about 30 small "Minifrikadellchen".

In the pan, some margarine is made hot and the meatballs then fried well.

That's how it looks. (Incidentally, we also did the pasta salad.)
