Total preparation time: 1 hr. 5 min.

I was very happy to be able to take part in the Fissler vitafit comfort pressure cooker product test as well and read the already set recipes with great interest.

Since it is very cold right now, I have prepared a colorful vegetable stew with beef breast and Mettenden. First, I have "amused" with the manual and rinsed my new pressure cooker properly.

Then on Saturday the ingredients worried, the vegetables at the weekly market and the beef breast at my butcher. The Mettenden come however from the supermarket, since they are here in the Saarland unfortunately not easy to buy. Let's go!

ingredients for 4 persons

  • 500 g beef breast
  • 4 mates
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 5 carrots
  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 1 stick of leek
  • 1 bunch of birch trees
  • 1 tbsp. Broth

preparation

  1. Peel potatoes, carrots, kohlrabi and into cubes, which cut carrots into slices. Clean the leeks and then cut into small rings. Soup greens, so celery, leeks and cut small. Set the parsley aside.
  2. Set up the pressure cooker on level 3 of my electric cooker, wash the beef breasts, place in the saucepan and fill with 1.2 liters of water. Boil with the lid open and then close the pot. When the green ring appears, turn the temperature back. At my stove to 1.5.
  3. After 25 minutes of cooking, I take the pressure cooker from the hob and let the vitafit comfort evaporate. Then the pot is opened and the chopped vegetables, leeks and 1 tbsp granulated broth are added.
  4. Close the pressure cooker again and heat up to the green ring on level 3 of the electric cooker. After reaching, reduce heat again.
  5. After 10 minutes, remove the pot from the plate and let it evaporate. When the pot is open, put the meat ends in the hot stew and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  6. Season the stew to taste, remove the beef breast and meat from the pot and cut into small pieces.
  7. Give the washed and small plucked parsley over the stew and then I wish a good appetite!

I would like to point out that the total preparation time that I have stated here only refers to the times that I have so controlled. The times for heating and evaporating are not included !!!

Info:

What I like about the Fissler vitafit comfort is that I can prepare delicious meals very quickly, which can be cooked very gently, and so vitamins are better than those of other cooking methods.

I also like the fact that I was able to subscribe to the Kochlust Magazine at Fissler and so I am regularly informed about new recipes and other news and that's free.

Less good I liked that I can not specify the cooking and cooking time for my court specifically because I have not constantly looked at the clock and still have too little experience. But that will change soon.
