Warm, nutritious breakfast: my "muesli porridge"
Time
Total preparation time: 15 min.
I put together a "complete breakfast", made up of various valuable foods.
I can not and do not want to meet everyone's taste, that's for people who like to have a hot breakfast and prefer porridge rather than muesli with meaty flakes. Who does not do that: spares me with Yuck-comments!
For a mega or two normal breakfast portions (or a large breakfast and a small snack):
ingredients
- 3 tbsp oatmeal
- 3 tbsp millet flakes
- 1 tablespoon of flaxseed
- 250 g of low-fat quark
- 1/2 apple
- 1 banana
- 1-2 tablespoons dried fruit cubes or sultanas, raisins ...
- about 200 ml of milk
- 1 spoonful of linseed oil
preparation
- Boil the flakes, linseeds, dried fruits and milk together in a small pot and let it swell for a few minutes.
- Stir in cottage cheese, chopped fresh fruit and linseed oil.
- If you like, you can still use agave syrup, pear syrup, honey or similar. sweet.
Oats and millet are very high-quality grains, flaxseed is good for digestion, quark brings protein, fruit and dried fruit are there for vitamins, serotonin (good mood!) And also good for the intestines.
I have been eating this almost every morning for months now, sometimes more, sometimes less. Leftovers are left in the fridge and are a welcome snack in the afternoon or evening (or the next morning, then I'll heat it up again).
I'm well-fed, I'm rarely cold, my mood has skipped the winter blues this time, and also the atopic dermatitis has not seen this winter, despite dry heating air.
