Wash and clean strawberries properly

In keeping with the current strawberry season here's a little hint:

To wash:

Since strawberries are very sensitive, you should not wash them under a hard stream of water, but rather gently rinse with the hand shower. It is even better if you clean it in a bowl with plenty of cold water. Then let it drain in a sieve or dab it with kitchen paper.

cleaning:

So that the strawberries are not soaked in water and thus their aromatic taste is watered down, they are cleaned only after washing. For this you should use a sharp, sharp knife, with which the sepals can be removed cleanly, without losing any of the pulp.
