Wash curtains / curtains in the washing machine
There comes again the love old broken tights used! I grab the curtain (curtain) with one hand on the upper side, where the hooks are together, then I put the pantyhose panties over it (the legs of the pantyhose hang down like Till Eulenspiegel's cap), then I take the panties with my hand, then I take one of the legs, wrap it around to the right, then the other leg on the left and knot both, so that the upper part is firmly enclosed. Then off with it in the washing machine.
Thus, the hooks can not be lost during washing and cause no damage even with sensitive curtains. After washing simply unknot again and voilá the curtains can be hung without having to look for reserve hooks.
