Wash leek - it will be really clean
Leek should only be washed after chopping, so that it gets really clean.
Leek is a delicious vegetable - if only it were not so time-consuming to wash away all the sand and earth crumbles between the layers.
It can be much easier: Cut the unwashed leek into pieces - and then wash it first. So you can be sure that guaranteed no dirt between the layers of leaves.
Then you can prepare leek soup or leeks wrapped in ham and cheese, which are baked under a cream cover!
