Wash program for sneakers, clean soles with a bath cleaner
Some sneakers can withstand a lot, but they should always be clean - not easy. Unless you do it like me:
Take out the shoelaces, knot them together, put them in a laundry bag together with the sneakers and get into the washing machine! If you do not have a laundry bag, you can put the sneakers in a duvet cover or pillowcase (button it!) Or knot it in a large towel: gentle cycle, spin number down, done!
Now to the soles: the sole edges, e.g. when Nike Cortez likes to know, white again, if you after the wash spray bath cleaner (for example, Biff) on the sides and this scrubbed with an old toothbrush (or hand brush) and then washed under running water.
If the sneakers are not so heavily soiled, simply wipe with a damp cloth and clean only the sole edges - that looks a lot neater again!
