Washing sneakers in the dishwasher
You often throw sneakers into the washing machine. In older models, this sometimes leads to disintegration phenomena.
I just put them in the top basket of the dishwasher with the sole up. Be super clean and I personally use this rinse then for things like flower vases or other stuff, which is dusty etc. and does not serve food intake.
Afterwards, as in the old days, newsprint and dry.
Of course you can also use a normal rinse if it does not bother you that the shoes are in it. I think then one should only take care that e.g. Not just the pot with the rest Bolognese sauce or spinach in it is to avoid discolorations.
