If you want to spontaneously conjure up a really good breakfast, then you can prepare this delicious toast - Welsh Rarebit.
preparation
- Lightly toast 4 slices of toast and a little butter on it.
- Separate 1 egg - Beat the egg whites until fluffy, mix the egg yolks with a little bit of salt, pepper, paprika, a small spoonful of mustard, a bit of chives (or simply mixed dry herbs) and approx. 100 g of grated cheese and put them under the egg whites.
- Evenly distribute the mixture on the toast and place it all on the middle rail in the oven and wait until the egg mixture is golden and fluffy.
(One should not believe it, but the Tommies really have something on the island, which tastes great!)
