Wet tissue variant instead of moist toilet paper
Inexpensive, environmentally friendly and line-saving wet wipe variant - instead of moist toilet paper.
Moist toilet paper may be pleasant, but is not degradable due to the plastics used therein, dissolves due to the synthetic agents contained therein u.U. Allergies and skin irritation and is incidentally still realtiv expensive.
In addition, the packaging (thicker, softer plastic) is not or only very poorly recyclable and also not degradable due to its strength.
A cheap alternative is the paper towels that are offered for paper towel dispensers. Place the large pack in the pantry / basement, carefully open the bag so that you can use it later, and remove a small stack of towels that is placed within easy reach of the WC. If you need a wet wipe, you just hold the paper towel under the faucet and then use it ... well, just like a wet wipe :-)
These towels should not be thrown into the toilet because, unlike toilet paper made for them, the solid pulp does not fray in the water. But since the cloth is larger than a wet wipe, it can be better crumpled up and disposed of in the residual waste bin.
If all the paper is used up, you can then use the empty bag again as a garbage bag.
