I have only one eye on a hiding, which makes my face look very asymmetrical.

I had even toyed with the idea of having the excess skin removed. And since it is well known that we are innovative, at some point I came to the following:

Buy a transparent plaster (the best way is Aqua Protect from Hansaplast).
From this you cut 1-2mm thick strips in a light arc.
The eyelid should be fat-free and dry.
Put your head back so that you can see your half-opened eye in the mirror.
Now glue the strip to the deepest part of the eyelid and press down firmly, preferably with a cotton swab.

Finished.

And it lasts a long time ...
