Who still knows him, the pea salad?

Who still remembers him, the pea salad, especially the cook beginners? I remember that the tasty pea salad used to come on almost every Sunday dinner.

So so:

2 cans of peas, 1 onion, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 2 - 3 tablespoons oil, salt, pepper, ½ tsp. Mustard, a little parsley


Make a vinaigrette from vinegar, oil, the spices and mustard, so mix well. Cut the onion into small cubes and mix with the peas. Add the vinaigrette and sprinkle with parsley.

The same goes with wax beans.

Another tip for canned peas or peas with carrots: drain the peas and catch the liquid. Stir in a roux with a little butter and flour and add the pea liquid, stir well. Put the peas / carrots in the pot and season with salt and pepper.
