Wood and graphite chips repel moths
Expensive sweaters made of cashmere and wool are a treat for moths and Co. They can be sold by an old home remedy.
One fills an envelope with the shavings that occur when sharpening a pencil. They do not like the mixture of wood and graphite and they forgave themselves without taking a bite off the sweater.
The envelope with the pointed waste is not glued, only loosely put together and placed in the folded sweater.
The best is a pencil made of cedar, because this wood is effective against pests and also smells good.
