Stuffed wraps are quick to prepare, do not require a great cooking experience, are tasty and are also very figure-friendly.

  • 500 g chicken breast or something more
  • 1/2 each of red, green and yellow peppers
  • 1 head Romanesco or 1/2 iceberg lettuce

  • 4 stems of marjoram
  • Yogurt or herbal quark

preparation

  1. The meat is cut into small strips. This is best done by briefly freezing the chicken breast and then cutting it half frozen. This creates really thin stripes and it is much easier than with fresh chicken breast (this also applies, for example, for beef or liver).
  2. In a pan, oil, like olive oil, heated and the seasoned meat fried about 15 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, cut the washed vegetables: the peppers and the salad into thin strips, the tomato into slices or even cubes, the onion into rings.
  4. 3 washed stems Marjoram are minced / minced and mixed with the yoghurt and seasoned with paprika and chilli flakes (ready-made herb quark is also an option).
  5. If you prefer a different flavor, you should just experiment with spices: Turkish style? Then Köftegewürz, cumin, isot fits. Or rather Asian style: turmeric, curry, ginger ... Anyhow he likes it.
  6. In the meantime, prepare the wraps according to the package instructions (heat in a pan without oil until the wraps are soft and pliable).
  7. It is also in the microwave, but there is to watch the time, otherwise they are very easy to hard. When heated in the microwave, it is advisable to wrap the wraps all stacked together in wet wrung baking paper tightly and to heat. So they do not dry out.
  8. The warm wraps are now liberally spread with the yoghurt and covered with the vegetables and chicken strips. The lower third of the wraps should remain free.
  9. First, you hit the bottom unfilled third up, then the sides are firmly closed.
  10. It is recommended to wrap the wrap with a strip of sandwich paper at the bottom. This is easier to handle and so it is more pleasant to eat.
  11. But you can also roll up the wrap and cut it into thin slices. With a toothpick you have then small mouthful appetizers.
