Yeast apple pie with font
Classic yeast apple pie with a cast, a nice recipe that's easy to prepare.
ingredients
For the dough:
- 400 g of flour
- 200 ml of milk
- 80 g of sugar
- 80 g of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pck of vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pck of dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
For the casting:
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 2 tablespoons sour cream or creme fraiche
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 pck vanilla sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
preparation
- Mix flour with sugar, vanilla sugar and yeast.
- Warm the milk and butter gently until the butter melts, allow to cool again and stir the whole egg and 1 egg yolk thoroughly. Add to the flour in the bowl and knead thoroughly.
- Cover in a draft-free warm place and allow to rise for 1 hour, dough almost doubles.
- Grease the cake sheet (butter) and spread the dough on it. Press down with your hands and pull up one edge. Let it go for another 20 minutes.
- Then cover with quartered apples lightly sprinkled with lemon juice and bake at 170 degrees for approx. 35 minutes top / bottom heat. Do not preheat the oven!
- Make a pour 10 minutes before the end: cream, sour cream or crème fraiche, egg yolk, vanilla sugar and sugar until creamy.
- Spread with a spoon on the apple pie (to taste a few almonds) and finish baking.
- Let cool and enjoy.
