"Cold" LED lamps

Saving energy by replacing "normal filament bulbs" in LED lamps is announced.

For those who can not or do not want to use energy-saving lamps in exchange for the "spiral incandescent lamps", the LED lamp can be used to save energy. In the meantime, there are LED lamps in all versions.

As Schraublampen with threads E27 and E14, which are large and small threads (formerly normal and candle bulbs), as well as GU 10 and GU 5.3 jacks. These are the sockets with the two "nipples" for 240 volts and the two pins for 12 volt circuits, the latter for lamp systems with transformer.

For many users, however, the LED lamps are "too cold", meaning that people miss the soft, warm light and therefore reject the LED lamps. Usual Comments: "My living room is not a workshop."

An easy way to save electricity through LED lamps and still ensure the beautiful light-warmth in the living area I have here:

Take model modeling (railway model building) a little lamp varnish (for example, light yellow) and paint it with a school paint brush or with a cut piece of household sponge on the glass surface of the LED lamp. Let it dry, turn it on, try it out and maybe repeat it or take a darker yellow.

Success, instead of at least 30 - 60 watts now 1.5 to 3 watts of power consumption. LED lamps usually have a burning time of about 10000 hours. The higher purchase price is compensated by the long service life. In summer, my garden lighting "burns" long and often, in the winter months I have a lot of light in the living area at "small" costs. ,
