Tie plants together with tricot strips

For us it is a big Ficus Benjamini, who already hits the ceiling and therefore goes into the width. In order to avoid running out of the eye, I tie the thick main branches inside plant - a little further up - together. You can really use Kaft, unlike the thinner branches.

Thin, incisive plant wires are (for this) not recommended, because they are constantly "under tension", so that the plant adapts to the desired growth with time. Ideal would be thick cord cords, but you also do not always have to hand or for other decoration ideas used.

Just as well - if not better, being soft and stretchy - it works with discarded tricot, which you cut into about 4-5 (or more) cm wide strips.

If you e.g. tearing a shirt along the side seams, the tearing edge curls up by itself. If also the other side is cut off with the scissors in the required width (do not cut in a bit and then tear), it will be a completely rolled-up, cord-like strip. Possibly. you help a little bit by hand. You will always have replenishment if something is sorted out again. The stripes are soft and stretchy - almost better than cords.

The most unobtrusive are of course green ribbons, but since they are inside in dense foliage, it goes in every color, if not in neon ... If it's green, then: Do not tear your family members' khaki favorite shirts off the body! Of course you could "accelerate" the aging process: tomato sauce, ironing accident ... ne keep a joke, because again something in sports, etc ... was forgotten (ask from time to time, if it has since surfaced) always remark that it competes unfavorably with the complexion.
