Nut pudding - fast, easy and delicious!

I have this recipe from my dad and his grandmother's. So is old home cooking, I present you here;)

You need:

2 sachets (about 400g) chopped hazelnuts
1 liter of cold milk
2- 3 tsp. Cornstarch
1/2 (500g) packet of sugar

* about 1/2 cup of the cold milk! with 2 tsp. cornstarch.
* Heat the hazelnuts with the sugar in a saucepan until the sugar is nice brown. Always stir, otherwise the sugar will cake on the bottom of the pot.
* When the desired browning has been achieved, tip about half of the milk onto the nut / sugar mixture and stir well (remember, it hisses at the beginning and clumps), when the sugar has dissolved, the remaining milk on it.
* Bring to a boil while stirring.
* Stir again the milk with the cornflour (likes to settle on the ground after a while) and add it to the sugar, nut and milk mixture with stirring.
* Let continue cooking.
* If the mixture does not seem solid enough, you can still add a teaspoon of starch (dissolved in water or milk), but beware: the longer you leave it, the pudding will be stronger! So do not overdo the strength!
* Simmer the pudding a bit and pour into a jar (note: as the pudding contains no gelatine, it will not be dropped later!)

-> I have him as a child always hot and liquid nibbled, today he is me cold and tight dear;)

PS: You can do it with almonds or walnuts.
