Strengthen crochet doily with hairspray
Crochet doilies will become smooth and stiff again after washing, when they are then stuck to the ironing board with pins on the edge. Then spray with hairspray. Apply briefly and allow to dry slightly. Then put a dish or ironing cloth on it and iron over it.
If they are crocheted cotton, then adjust cotton on the iron. Lay the cloth again with a dry part on it and iron dry. You can almost put the doily in the cupboard.
If the ironing strength for shirts has gone out, you can also use hairspray. But please without glitter.
