The big eszett (ß) on the keyboard
So far, the Eszett in the capitalization was usually with a double? S? written. Recently (since June 29, 2017) the big Eszett has been introduced, which is actually used quite rarely.
However, the Eszett comes in some surnames, and can now be used correctly in the capitalization in documents (such as in passports and passports). It's like a big one ? B? and looks like this: ???.
The problem is that it is not yet planned on the keyboards. But there are different keyboard shortcuts to do it in? Word? nevertheless be able to write correctly, but not all and not all fonts work well.
For Windows machines:
- from Windows 8 with the key combination: "Alt Gr" + "Shift" + "ß"
- in older systems with: "Old Gr" + "h" or
- with the combination "Old" and "7838 ?, Just press the "Alt" key, keep it pressed and type in the numbers 7 8 3 8 one after the other.
On my computer with? Windows 7? it worked only with the last key combination and with the fonts Arial and Times New Roman! Buy now
