Tinker statement chain with keyboard letters
I bought an old PC keyboard with beautiful white keyboard letters at the flea market. The individual keys can be easily get out and thus tinker a statement chain.
What you need for the chain:
- Polymer clay with silver effect
- Alleskleber
- knitting needle
- a few beautiful matching beads with a larger hole
- 1 choker (steel silk) with buckle
- and of course individual keys with suitable letters
You can wear your own name on the neck. Or you can think of an abbreviation like I A A H = I am a hero. Then you have a guessing game on your neck and get into conversation!
How it is done:
- Knead polymer clay and roll out 5 mm thick.
- Cut out rectangles 2.5 x 2.5 cm.
- Pierce a hole across one edge with a knitting needle.
- Cure the pieces on baking paper in the oven at 110 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Let cool down.
- Stick the buttons with all-purpose glue.
- Wait half an hour.
- Then thread the individual fimo buttons and the beads on the choker.
- The statement chain is done!
