Tips against frost in the car

Here are a few tips against frost in the car, which I always take heed and therefore have little problems in winter, although I do not drive a state-of-the-art car:

So that doors and also the boot - important - do not freeze, rub the rubber seals in time with talc or glycerin, also between the rubber beads.
Then you get both well.

The headlights and turn signals and the brake lights, I rub thin with glycerin. So no ice can form there.

For the windshield I take, if there is no cover at hand, cardboard boxes, which I clamp under the Schebenwischer, even better, however, are old X-ray images, radiating the little heat of the winter sun better. The discs stay clear.

In addition, I always leave a side window a small gap open, so I prevent the windows from icing on the inside, because the air is so cold inside and out.

I also touch my own frost agent for the windscreen washer system myself:
In proportion: 1 liter of spirit, 1 cup of water and two tablespoons of detergent. This keeps frost-free to -35 degrees and at the same time cleans the windscreen perfectly.
