Chicory Knöpfle pan

A very fast and light dish, which without ham is certainly also suitable for vegetarian cuisine.

Ingredients for 3 to 4 servings

  • 500 g fresh knöpfle
  • 500 g chicory
  • 1 onion
  • 3 - 4 tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 150 g ham cubes
  • a little salt, pepper and oregano
  • Butter or oil for searing
  • something sour

preparation

  1. First, the fresh Knöpfle are fried on a coated pan in butter or vegetable oil for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Meanwhile, the onion is peeled and diced and the chicory cut into fine strips.
  3. Then the chicory strips, onion cubes and the chopped tomatoes are added and the whole is fried for a few minutes.
  4. Finally, add the ham cubes and the paprika cut into small pieces, season everything with pepper, salt and oregano and fry for about 5 minutes, then the chicory puff pastry pan can be served with some sour cream.
