Wrist warmers / wrist warmers against freezing and cold feeling

Yes, the dear winter time (is there still ?!): For me, at least it is expressed from time to time that I walk through the day slightly chilly. After a tiring day or a threatening infection, the whole thing intensifies and I also freeze in the apartment despite thicker clothes. Luckily, I remembered the secret recipe of my knitting grandmother: wristwarmers / wrist warmers!

Since I have short hand tulips anyway, I tried them on and behold: The shivering went back slowly, but surely, even though the fingers were free! It does not have to be complete hand gauntlets, which usually reach to the joints of the fingers or higher, but only hand warmers: in fact, only the actual wrist must be covered with the point at which we can feel the pulse. Not a physician, but maybe the skin is actually thinner here than at other parts of the body and thus the heat loss higher.

You know that I'm working. a lot of knitting. So when I googled in a blog I came across the possibility of using up less than 50 grams of wool / yarn: Tata-Tata - Wrist Warmers! Here is the link: //schoenstricken.de/2013/11/strickideen-mit-einem-wollknaeuel. If you spice up the wool remnant a bit with thin feathery yarn, the end product is also an eye-catcher. Or you can combine different materials / remnants and work patchwork-wise. There's nothing like a grandma!
