Clean burned pots quite easily

I fill the pot with cold (!) Pure water, close it with a lid and leave it overnight. The next morning the encrustations have come off and everything is fine!

Dad: The present here baking powder or soda users, I give 100% right, recommending soda, because much cheaper!
In my life, I've certainly thrown away three or four hopelessly charred pots, I'm sorry for that today.
At that time I did not know this tip:
If rinsing and scouring fail:
Boil 1 teaspoon soda (drugstore, 1 kg 1?) With 1 - 2 cm of water, switch off, soak overnight, everything burned can then wipe off easily, lasting discoloration I have never had. However, I only use stainless steel pots and pans, with Teflon I would not recommend this method, for enamel harnesses, I can not judge, because I have long had none more.
