Elderflower liquor
Take about 35 to 40 fully matured elderflower flowers and put them in a mixture of about 40 g of citric acid and 3 to 4 liters of water for 24 hours. Pick the elder flowers best on a sunny afternoon and do not wash, just shake them out (because of the critters). Then pour the whole through a sieve and mix 1 to 1 with grain. The higher percentage the better. Maybe season with a little sugar. Can be enjoyed immediately, but tastes even better after about 4 weeks of storage in bottles.
