Feed smaller pillows into standard covers

In Germany, there are the following standard sizes of pillows: 60 x 60 cm - 80 x 80 cm - 40 x 60 cm and 40 x 80 cm. The smaller, narrow pillows, in the size 40 x 80 cm are also known as neck support pillow, because it can be compensated in side sleepers, the height difference between the shoulder and the neck, as the head is on the pillow and the shoulder on the mattress. This relieves the neck and prevents the cervical spine from bending when sleeping. Due to the straight position of the spine, there is no tension in the neck and back and you can sleep without pain.

We have been using such pillows for a long time (40 x 80 cm) and do not want to miss them anymore. However, almost all our duvet covers only have normal pillow cases in the standard size 80 x 80 cm. Thus, there is always the problem when referring to these narrow pillows. Although you can get individual pillowcases in the right size, but you also want to use the matching duvet cover. So far, I have always turned half of the cover backwards, but then this half slips then usually. Once I had just half stitched inwards, but that was not such a good solution.

A few days ago, I now saw a TV tip about this problem. It's so easy: You get the pillow as normal, so you put it in the upper half of the cover. From the lower half, the two corners (C + D) are turned inwards and put into the cover under the pillow inside in the upper corners (A + B) - ie the lower left corner [C] in the upper left corner ( A) and the lower right corner [D] in the upper right corner (B). As a result, nothing can slip so easily, that's really a very good solution. I do not know why I did not think so yet? Maybe some of you are alike!
