From the dormouse to the abdominal dormouse

Unfortunately, I have sleep apnea and am pronounced back sleepers. I should change that, because oxygen saturation was at 75. I sewed a tennis ball into the T-shirt and something else, but did not help everything, I still lay on my back.

I had an operation on my shoulder at some point and it had to be fixed for four weeks, on a pillow and with a shoulder sling. I did not throw that part away when I did not need it anymore but used it as a pillow for the popliteal fossa.

But at some point the idea came to strap the thing on my back. Said done, but on bare skin, because with shirt or pajamas you can still turn it a bit.


After five weeks night after night with the thing on my back, I became a total abdominal dormant. Have for safety again let sleep monitor and lo and behold, almost no apnea and oxygen saturation is back to normal 95.

This is also a good tip for those who "only" snore at night (if they sleep on their backs) and want to or should not.

Note: If you suspect apnea, always consult a doctor. This is NOT a tip for the treatment of sleep apnea!
