Beer bottle as a live mousetrap
We had set up various traps for hunting mice in the pantry. The highly intelligent mouse ignored them or devoured the bacon bait. After that, she was apparently thirsty and slipped into an empty beer bottle, which stood in a box, and from which she could no longer free herself.
We then took them to the forest, put the bottle on the floor, and the mouse was able to get away. I suspect that a piece of bacon in an empty bottle (with a narrow neck) standing in a box (must not fall over) can be a viable living trap for mice.
