Grandma's Christmas cake
Can you still need a cake for Christmas? This one is great!
Here's the recipe for Grandma's Christmas cake:
75 g of chocolate, heated
75 g butter, room warm
75 g of sugar
3 egg yolks, stir until frothy.
60 g of flour
40 g lunar amine
2 heaped teaspoon baking powder,
1 Msp. cinnamon and cloves, stir in and stir smoothly with 3 - 4 tablespoons of coffee.
Beat 3 egg whites with 2 tablespoons of sugar until stiff and fold in with 50 g almond sticks.
Bake in greased wreath mold for 50-60 minutes at 170/180 degrees.
After cooling, cover the cake with a glaze of 100 g powdered sugar, 1 heaped teaspoon cocoa and 1 - 2 tablespoons hot coffee.
It looks very good when you put a thick strip of white icing on top that runs down like icicles.
