Grass and Co: dry in the boiler room
Small amounts of grass and co can be dried well in the boiler room, because it is always nice and warm there. All you need is a large flat carton or the shell of a guinea pig cage. Well, of course that does not work if you live in an apartment building.
I cut z. For example, dandelion leaves and grasses are cut into short pieces so that it dries faster and you should not put too much of the green
superimpose. I then store the hay in pillowcases and hang them in the boiler room for a few more weeks. So it dries right through. That's fine. My guinea pigs like the self-hay much better than the hay they buy.
