Keeping cropped orange fresh

Every summer I make an Aperol Spritz for us every day. Tastes delicious and makes holiday feeling. Of course you also need orange slices. Then there is always a rest left, which I use for the next drinks.

I just take a piece of cling film, put the sliced orange on it, wrap the foil tightly around it and twist the ends together like a stick. Then the orange in the fridge everywhere, usually in the door, and without mess. The interface remains fresh and the rest is enough for the next two days. I then cut off a thick slice of orange and wrap the foil back together. I find it more practical than plates, molds or similar, which take up space in the refrigerator. Well then cheers"
