Book tip: Natchez Burning, a book to devour

About the book: Natchez is a place where whites and blacks live. The mayor, Penn Cage, is put into the past. At a time when there was still the Ku Klux clan, where blacks have no rights, where black and white did not use the same side of the street.

His father, who is a highly respected doctor, is to be charged with murder. He is alleged to have rendered euthanasia to his former nurse. Penn Cage tries to find out what really happened. His father wraps himself in silence.

Penn finds that there were twin eagles who formed from the Ku Klux clan to do even worse things.

Together with a reporter, who was previously alone researching the double-headed eagle, they now try to get behind the dark secrets.

Penn Cage learns how dangerous the double-headed eagle was not only in the 60s, but that their offspring are still powerful today.

If you want to read a very good thriller with 1024 pages, this is the place for you. Rarely have I felt so displeased and feverish as here.

Throughout two seasons, the book, never boring or forward-looking, carries suspense to the last page.
