Re-assemble light nets with dropouts

Every year the same problem: No matter where you bought the lights network and whether a brand name is on it or it is made in China (as well anyway) is: In places, the bulbs fall out.

Of these networks, I have several and wanted to use them in this incomplete state, but not dispose of them.

The solution:

Double lay the net, so hammer in that the no longer glowing part of the net is covered.

Since I had two locally broken nets, I put them on top of each other in such a way that both defective lots were obscured by glowing bulbs.

If you have only one net, in which a section is no longer lit, you strike it so that it is also covered.

Granted, it's a Fummelarbeit. It is best to stretch the net between the cabinet or the door frame, pull it evenly into shape and then look where things are no longer glowing. Then you can use clothespins (Caution: Do not pinch the bulbs) roughly align the mesh.

I have a long rod (reed) attached above, so that the "light curtain"? arranged neatly.

If you are sure that all defective bulbs are covered, you can work with cable ties or tesa to hold the new net together.

Since these light nets do not look very attractive in daytime windows without lighting, I've placed star-printed organza cloth close to the glass. Behind it is the light network and during the day, without lighting, it looks attractive because you can not see the cable network from the outside.
