Rub dried stains on dark cloth

Yesterday I realized once again that small stains on dark fabrics often just go away by gently rubbing them over the stain with the same material.

On the arm of my dark blue blazer was a dried-on patch (chocolate? -No idea). Anyway, I took the other sleeve and shredded the stain away with it. Went very fast and without any traces.

Maybe try before you just soften and rub the stain with soap and water.

For more dramatic spots (tomato sauce, oil, etc.) that will probably not work.
