Too hard biscuit bottom

So you can "soften" too hard Bisquitboden again.

Yesterday I bought wonderful, fresh strawberries and started to bake a biscuit bottom as soon as possible.

When it was almost finished in the oven, it rang at the front door, so he had to spend an idea too long in the oven and a little too crispy.

Nevertheless, I covered it with the strawberries and covered it with cake. I carefully dabbed the free edge with water with a pastry brush, allowed to draw a little, and lo and behold: The fruit cake was super juicy, and it did not indicate that the soil was ever too hard.

I could imagine that, if necessary, also e.g. Orange juice or maybe a liqueur (... then of course not suitable for children!) Can take.

Have fun with your "cake rescue"!
